Job Description   Interviews are currently being scheduled for an Infection Control RN who will develop, implement and evaluate unit specific and hospital-wide surveillance programs for the purpose of detecting and preventing possible sources of infection and infectious outbreak. This position will assist with the establishment of standard of care in infection control practice protecting patients and employees and will serve a resource to all hospital departments, medical staff and community as it relates to preventing disease transmission in all ages (neonate, pediatric, adolescent adult and geriatric). Job Requirements   To qualify for this position, the qualified candidate will possess a BS Degree in Nursing (BSN) and be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience. Individuals with acute care infection control experience and certification in infection control are preferred. Experience with high-risk patient population(s) is also preferred.
