We are seeking a Columbus, Ohio based Region HR Director for a multi-site North America HR Business Partner role. We are a market leader holding leading positions across various end markets and geographies. This key business partner role will be part of the North America Business Management Team and will work closely with Manufacturing, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other business unit leadership. Candidates must be willing to travel and relocation costs will not be covered for this opportunity.
Job Description
Essential Functions:
• Leads performance management and associate development processes
• Provides input on and translates HR strategy into specific objectives and goals annually to execute business strategy.
• Facilitate People and Organization Review process and resulting individual and organization development plans.
• Communicate changes and improvements in HR processes and programs
Provide direction, support, and coaching for development and service delivery improvement to field HRM’s.
• Lead organizational change and development for Business.
• Identify organizational and team performance requirements from business strategy.
• Drive through influence necessary changes in organization and culture to achieve business strategy.
• Partner with functional leadership to drive culture change in alignment with strategy selection and development of leadership talent.
• Coach members of Business Team on effective leadership behaviors.
• Ensure application of leadership competency model into leader selection and development.
• Teach leadership skills modules as part of Leadership Development program
• Develop and facilitate effective and efficient HR service delivery to organization in partnership with region operations HR lead.
• Participate and/or lead teams that improve core HR processes in compensation, recruiting, staffing, training, development and any other area that becomes a focus for HR process and program continuous improvement.
• Participate and/or lead teams working on HR goals that address priority HR issues.
Conduct training and meeting facilitation as required.
• Advocate Associate interests to Management, act as a conscience in the organization, resolve conflict and seek win-win solutions, and promote positive and effective associate relations.

Job Requirements
Education / Qualifications:
• B.A. or B.S. Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations, Psychology or Business Administration. Masters Degree is a plus.
• 10+ years Human Resource Generalist / Management experience.
• Experience as an HR Business Partner working closely with manufacturing / distribution, commercial and corporate type associates is strongly preferred.
• Multi-site, non-union manufacturing / industrial experience required
• Labor relations experience helpful but not required.
• Must be willing to travel.
