Recruitment Enhancement Services is seeking a .NET Application Developer for a leading marketing agency. Must be experienced in .NET development and have a passion for creating innovative, robust applications. This individual will be a key member of a team that is designing, developing, and implementing a new inventory management platform and integrating it into an enterprise event management system.
Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position would:
Create smart, maintainable code
Assist with the deployment of applications from dev to staging to production
Act as a resource to other development team members
Track and report the progress of major milestones and releases
Possess clear knowledge and the ability to work under the agile development process
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid object oriented development skills
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts and development
Experience implementing applications using .NET frameworks 2.0+
Experience implementing ASP.NET applications
Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server Platforms
Expertise in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 with integrated source control solutions
Ability to apply object-oriented design principles to create extensible, maintainable applications
Experience with JSON, JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax and/or RIA development
Solid understanding of .NET security model
Job Requirements
Preferred Skills that are a definite plus:
Familiarity with common design patterns and how they fit into .NET software development (e.g. GoF, MVP, etc.)
Experience creating and consuming web services in .NET, preferably with WCF
Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, RhinoMocks, etc.)
Experience with NHibernate
Experience or working knowledge of DI / IOC containers for .NET (StructureMap, Spring.NET, Ninject, etc.)
Experience with reporting tools (Crystal Reports/SQL Reporting Services)
Development experience for Inventory, Ordering and Shipping Management System is a definitive plus.

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used in application design and development
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with client team to determine requirements for system changes
Identify and evaluate the impact of proposed or requested changes to existing application systems
Adhere to standards of application systems analysis, programming and procedures
Adhere to policies and procedures for modifying information systems
Coordinate with technology partners, including consultants, integrators and vendors
Comply with policies, procedures and controls related to Sarbanes-Oxley or other regulatory frameworks
Follow procedures and policies related to client security and data protection standards
Adhere to the MSA and applicable Federal, State, County and local regulations regarding the merchandising of tobacco products
Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of development experience.
