Recruitment Enhancement Services is currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer - Power for one of the world's largest solution provider of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment for commercial, residential and transportation applications.

Job Description

	We seek a Senior / Staff Engineer to work with a dynamic group within the Power Electronics and Motors Team. Position will involve some travel. Job Responsibilities include: • Specification, design evaluation, project tracking, and product qualification testing • Identification of opportunities for improved product manufacturability and cost reduction • Interaction with suppliers to define “best-in-class” hardware solutions • Design the power sections and EMI systems for in house drives with a power range of .1 – 100kW

Job Requirements

	MSEE or equivalent Minimum of 4+ years of related experience. • Good basic electrical understanding and hands on experience • Ability to work safety with high voltage systems (760VDC and 480VAC or higher) • HVAC/small appliance specific drive application in the .1 – 100kW range • Electrical simulation tools e.g. Spice • PC board level drives for integration in products • Familiarity with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and component selection • Knowledgeable in product qualification to US and European standards-Underwriters Laboratory (UL), CSA and EN/IEC standards. IPC standards • Power semiconductors and IGBT power sections design • EMI design and testing • Power electronics component lifetime predictions

Minimal travel to customer sites, field locations and other Company sites.
